Being in a position to deliver incredible fantasy style makeup, having confidence when playing with colour, a steady hand drawing linework and the ability to create jaw dropping 3D shading is one way to delight your clients.
This class is aimed at both makeup artists and creative enthusiasts - all materials are provided, techniques will be taught step by step and we will be shooting final looks.

Bring: Makeup kits (makeup is provided as well), note pad + pens, camera/iPhone a model (from 12:30pm)

ABOUT SAMARA NILSSON MAKEUP ARTIST
Makeup artist, hairstylist, writer, qualified trainer and professional blogger, Samara Nilsson is a multi-talented certified girl boss who has been hustling her beauty business in Brisbane for the last seven years.
With career highlights such as, winning a Face 2 Face award for Film and Fantasy Makeup, heading up a several fashion week teams, creating red carpet glam on the stars at the Logies, shooting awe inspiring beauty editorial concepts both in Australia and overseas and working on some of Australian’s favourite television shows (The Bachelorette, The Bachelor, Embarrassing Bodies) and working with some of the biggest names in fashion, hair and beauty, Samara has a wealth of knowledge to share with her students.
After a whirlwind career of in the beauty industry, Samara has been nominated by the Australian Beauty Industry Awards as a finalist for Educator of the Year 2019 and judged the modern bridal catecory at the National Face 2 Face Awards in Sydney in August 2019.
Samara has been training in Brisbane at high schools, registered training organisations and privately for over five years and says “being a full-time creative professional is hard, you need a diverse skillset to be certain that you are the best person for the job when those once-in-a-lifetime opportunities come along”
Samara now services freelance commercial and bridal clients whist running her freelance makeup agency Boss Beauty Business, which is now a whooping 12 sub-contractors strong.
